Woon Tai Ho , was previously the CEO/MD of Media Corp News Singapore and the CEO of Channel K Myanmar and brings with him a wealth of experience in media, media management and outreach.
Prior to his highly prestigious CEO positions, Tai Ho founded Channel News Asia which he had launched back in 1999. He oversaw the expansion of Channel NewsAsia into East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Indian sub-continent. During his tenure, the channel had more bureaus in Asia than any news operations and reached out to more than 30 million households and hotels in more than 20 territories throughout Asia. Tai Ho was also responsible for Channel NewsAsia’s presence in the web and on mobile devices.
As consulting editor of M.R Channel, Tai Ho will be responsible for the content and programme structure of the channel. This involves designing the programme grid (types and time slots of programmes), look and feel as well as working with partners and sponsors to create signature shows featuring personalities and talents from across Asia.
